Laporte said the game should have been over by half-time |
France coach Bernard Laporte blamed his side for failing to finish off Wales in the first half of their RBS Six Nations in Paris on Saturday. The French had dominated the first period and romped to a 15-9 lead but fell foul of a Welsh revival.
And Laporte said: "We should have killed them off in the first half. We didn't and we paid for it.
"I still think we can take positives out of the match as we're building a team for the 2007 World Cup."
