Betsen feels ready to face Wales
France flanker Serge Betsen
France flanker Serge Betsen says he expects to recover from a thigh injury to face Wales in the Six Nations.

The 30-year-old missed Saturday's French championship match for his club Biarritz, but came through some light training without any ill effects.

He said: "I am optimistic, one has to be. I ran for 20 minutes on Saturday. I didn't feel anything in particular."

The results of Betsen's scan on Monday will ultimately decide if he can play in next Saturday's match in Paris.

Betsen picked up the right leg injury in an outstanding display in last Saturday's 18-17 win over England at Twickenham.
