New Zealand coach Graham Henry has warned his side could be "under-cooked" ahead of the first Test against the Lions on Saturday. The All Blacks have played just one warm-up international - the 91-0 victory over Fiji on 10 June.
"The Fiji game was not as big a challenge as we expected so you could say we are under-cooked," said Henry.
"But we had no warm-up game before England last summer and that didn't seem to be a problem."
England toured New Zealand last June and lost both Tests, scoring just 15 points to the All Blacks' 72.
Henry has made a series of changes from the side that cruised to victory against Fiji.
He has recalled Leon MacDonald, Justin Marshall, Carl Hayman, Keven Mealamu and Chris Jack. But the former Wales coach raised concerns his squad "haven't been together very much".
He said: "We had three training runs before the Fiji Test and a couple last week so we're still putting things together and there are still areas we need to work on and making sure that everyone is on the same page.
"That takes some time at Test-match level. When you're in a Super 12 side you've got a couple of months before the first game.
"When you play a Test match, you have only got a couple of weeks so there is a bit of pressure to get all those things right."
