There was big pressure coming into the game against Wellington after losing the Maori game, so I'm just chuffed we won.
The press and the hype had built this into a must-win game otherwise the tour - as they saw it - was going off the rails.
I know they had a lot of international players missing but they were a class team, a great outfit and defended well against us.
But having said that, there were a large number of times when our last pass didn't go to hand and on days when those stick it would have been a much different score.
It hasn't been too difficult to settle in despite arriving late on tour, as training has gone well this week with the guys.
I've also got to know them quickly off the field as well, which helped.
We've all bonded really well and it's amazing how a tour like this can bring so many people who you see as enemies week-in, week-out together as mates.
It's awesome to play with them, there's not a bother for anyone to put any number on their jersey and go out and play.
 | Melon (Gethin Jenkins) was outstanding, amazing |
Having said that, I'm delighted with how the Welsh boys have been playing - just look at Melon (Gethin Jenkins), he was outstanding, amazing to see today!
I'm sure the Cardiff City boys will be pleased with 'the Ayatollah' celebrations after my try.
It was a great personal achievement but I'll analyse my game tomorrow in depth; I know I missed a crucial tackle (against Ma'a Nonu) so I won't just be looking at the good things.
It may be only 10 days to the first Test but that's still a long way to go in rugby terms and no one has cemented their place yet.
