Mortlock has a depressed cheek bone and needs surgery |
Wallaby centre Stirling Mortlock has flown back to Australia after breaking his cheekbone in the 31-17 win over Scotland on Saturday. Mortlock was given the all clear to fly home by a specialist and will undergo surgery in Sydney later this week.
Fly-half Stephen Larkham will remain with the squad despite breaking his arm against the Scots.
Wing Clyde Rathbone is rated as having just a 10% chance of facing England on Saturday because of a groin injury.
