Tindall targets Wallabies payback
Mike Tindall in action for England
England vice-captain Mike Tindall says he will be looking for revenge when Andy Robinson's team lock horns with Australia at Twickenham on Saturday.

England beat Australia to win the World Cup last year but were hammered 51-15 by the Wallabies in June.

"Next weekend is a massive game," said Tindall after England's 32-16 win over South Africa on Saturday.

"We are still licking our wounds from the summer, and we have to get some payback," added the Bath centre.

England go into the match on the back of wins over Canada and South Africa, but Tindall believes Australia will pose a more difficult test for the world champions.

"Australia always play well, and they are probably the most consistent team in world rugby," said Tindall.

"We want to dominate the other team, and we have done that in the two games we have played so far.

"Australia play a much more varied game, and it will be another different challenge.

"It's another game that we have got to win. We lost the last time we played against Australia, and now we have got a chance to put that right."

Many of the team who will run out at Twickenham on Saturday were not involved in the World Cup win, and the new faces are keen to make a name for themselves.

"England have been very successful, but not all of us have been involved with that," said tight-head prop Julian White.

"Everyone compares this side with the World Cup team, but it was a year ago now, and it's about drawing a line under that.

"Martin Johnson and the rest are legendary players, but they have stepped aside and we can't keep on talking about them."
