Five changes are enforced by injury, whilst Michael Owen switches from lock to number eight.

Adam Jones and Brent Cockbain were first choices under Hansen, but were ruled out of the Italy game with injury.

After the Barbarians game, Wales face a June tour to Argentina and South Africa.

"There are a few enforced changes due to injury, but the look of the squad hasn't really changed," said Ruddock.

"The injuries mean that some of the players on the fringes have the chance to show what they can do.

"I obviously know Jason very well and he has a lot to offer, it is now up to him to seize his chance."

Forster told BBC Sport Wales: "It's been a hell of a long road, but I always had faith in myself and have been performing week-in, week-out.

"It's nice to have a coach come in with confidence in you and who is prepared to pick on form.

"I know what Mike wants and what he expects from us, he's uncompromising and expects the basics to be done very well."
