I'm pretty devastated to be ruled out of Wales' summer tour to Argentina and South Africa - I've seen a specialist about my knee and he's told me I need eight weeks' rest.
I've got this last game on Thursday in the Celtic League against Edinburgh and then he doesn't want me to do anything else.
It doesn't require surgery, but I've got severe bruising in the shin bone and the quad bone, I've also got a slight tear in the posterior cruciate ligament.
It will heal on its own accord but it'll take six to eight weeks for the bruising and the ligament to heal.
They've said if I go and play on those hard grounds and keep training that the problem could build into a knee reconstruction, so it's made my decision quite easy.

I was really looking forward to the tour as I've been getting some decent form towards the end of the year and feeling good in myself.
I'd earmarked the tour to really make a claim, so I'm just disappointed I've had to pull out.
But it's the end of a long year and sometimes your body just tells you when you've done enough, and perhaps mine is telling me that.
Over the next two or three weeks you'll see plenty of players dropping out of tours, not just for Wales but for every country that's going on a tour.
It's been an extremely long year with the World Cup, we've been playing international rugby since July last year and there's only so much a body can take at that level.
Players who have played a long season are going to pick up knocks and need a couple of operations just to get themselves right for next year, there will be a lot of injuries.
You only have to look at England - they've had a lot of players drop out just like Wales, but you've just got to try and get as many players on the tour fit as you can and perform at the highest level.
