Welsh Rugby Union chief executive David Moffett has confirmed that there are three names on the shortlist to replace Steve Hansen as national coach. Hansen will join the New Zealand coaching set-up after the current RBS Six Nations campaign.
The three in contention are thought to be Gareth Jenkins, former Canada coach Dave Clark and Harlequins director of rugby Mark Evans.
Favourite is Scarlets coach Jenkins, whose interview for the job is Tuesday.
He is 1-10 to land the post with Jack Brown bookmakers.
Clark is Jenkins' closest rival at 6-1, with Evans quoted at 8-1.
Moffett would not name the candidates but he told BBC Radio Five Live: "We would simply like to appoint someone to a team with great potential."
