West eyes Six Nations spot
Dorian West celebrates during England's World Cup victory parade
West is the oldest man to play in a World Cup semi-final
England hooker Dorian West has revealed that he is not yet ready to retire from international rugby.

The 36-year-old Leicester forward was the oldest member of the squad which won the World Cup in November.

England captain Martin Johnson is expected to decide by the end of next week whether to call time on his Test career before the Six Nations campaign.

But West said: "Rugby is what I do for a living and I'm still enjoying it, so if England pick me I'll be there."

West, who became the oldest man to play in a World Cup semi-final when he faced France, is two and a half years older than Leicester team-mate Johnson.

"Johnno is obviously still good enough to be picked, he's still full of enthusiasm and he seems happy enough," West told the Daily Mirror newspaper.

"The question, in his case, is does he still want it? He has a young daughter and he has achieved absolutely everything in the game.

"I can't second-guess what his decision will be. All I know is that in my own case 36 years old does not seem too old to be playing international rugby."
