 Robinson will be playing |
England will field just five of their World Cup-winning team against the New Zealand Barbarians at Twickenham. Jason Robinson, Mike Tindall, Richard Hill, Steve Thompson and Phil Vickery are in the 22-man squad named for the non-cap fixture on 20 December.
But a capacity crowd will not see the likes of Jonny Wilkinson, captain Martin Johnson, number eight Lawrence Dallaglio or centre Will Greenwood.
Wilkinson is out injured with a suspected stress fracture of the neck.
But the stand-off, together with Johnson and Dallaglio and the entire England World Cup squad, will parade the Webb Ellis Trophy on a lap of honour after the game.
Coach Clive Woodward has named 15 of the 31 players involved in the World Cup. But there are also opportunities for young prospects such as James Simpson-Daniel and Sale Sharks prop Andrew Sheridan.
Sharks fly-half Charlie Hodgson, who missed the World Cup with a serious knee injury, also returns to the squad.
In the absence of Johnson, Vickery will captain the side.

With key Zurich Premiership fixtures taking place on the same weekend, Woodward agreed not to select more than three players from any club. The fixture offers an opportunity to those who failed to make the World Cup final 22 or the original 30-man squad to press their claims.
"It gives all those taking part a fantastic opportunity to make a positive statement ahead of the 2004 RBS Six Nations Championship," Woodward said.
"I'm sure they will want to do everything they can to make my Six Nations selections as difficult as possible.
"Although I can't pick a full-strength team, it will be great to see Charlie Hodgson and James Simpson-Daniel back playing at Twickenham.
"I'm also looking forward to working with Andrew Sheridan, who is having such a good season with Sale Sharks and made rapid progress through the National Academy last season."
There will be a presentation to world record cap holder Jason Leonard to commemorate his 113th cap against Australia in the World Cup final.
Wilkinson and Kyran Bracken will also receive their silver caps for reaching 50 Tests during the tournament.
"Each of these players and the World Cup squad have made a huge contribution to rugby in England," Woodward added.
"I hope the crowd enjoy the day, which is a celebration of what we have achieved not just in the World Cup, but throughout the last 12 months."
