80+2 mins: Pete Anglesea is stretchered from the pitch with a neck injury as the match ends on a sombre note.

78 mins: Franck Tournaire finishes a move made in France to seal victory for the Barbarians. Humphreys adds two more points.

75 mins: Play is interrupted when the ball hits one of England's physios, on to attend to the injured Jamie Noon.

73 mins: Darren Edwards, who was a late call-up to replace the injured Agustin Pichot, replaces Mark Robinson at scrum-half.

52 mins: A flowing Barbarians move culminates in a try for Ulster and Ireland's Jonathan Bell. Humphreys increases the lead with the conversion.

49 mins: Chris Jones is ruled off-side, denying Phil Christophers and England a much-needed try.

47 mins: England are awarded a penalty for a deliberate knock-on - but David Walder's afternoon get worse as he kicks wide.

44 mins: Dan Scarborough and Michael Lipman combine well to stop Aisea Tuilevu in his tracks as the Baa-Baas threaten.

41 mins: The Barbarians get the second half under way.


40+2 mins: England's patient build-up is rewarded when Newcastle's Jamie Noon takes Martin Corry's pass and shows enough pace to get over for England's second try. Walder kicks the conversion.

39 mins: Cueto makes up for his earlier error with an excellent catch from David Humphreys' dangerous-looking cross-field kick.

37 mins: Chris Jones is guilty of a poor pass to club colleague Mark Cueto as England waste another good opportunity.

34 mins: England get a lucky break when Walder's penalty kick rebounds off the post straight into the arms of Michael Lipman, who crosses for the try. Walder misses his third kick of the afternoon.

Walder opts to kick three points from a good possession rather than trying to break through the man on the wrong side.

29 mins: England gain ground when the Barbarians are penalised for holding on, but once again fail to capitalise.

24 mins: Every time the Barbarians have got the ball they have looked liked scoring and Mark Robinson duly obliges when David Flatman misses an easy tackle. Humphreys kicks his third successful conversion.

22 mins: England's defence is struggling to cope with their opposition's attacking flair as Venter is denied a try because of a knock-on.

19 mins: Thomas Castaignede wastes a fantastic opportunity to extend the Baa-Baas' lead when he looses his footing and knocks-on.

16 mins: England are maintaining possession well but are struggling to force the Barbarians backwards.

11 mins: Walder strikes the post as England look to reduce the Baa-Baas' lead.

9 mins: Clive Woodward will be furious with England's defending as Christian Califano adds the Baa-Baas second try in five minutes. Humphreys adds two more points.

7 mins: David Walder reduces the deficit with a drop goal.

4 mins: The Barbarians' Sam Harding shows great awareness to find Thomas Castaignede with a magnificent cross-field kick. The French international kicks the ball forward into space and has the necessary pace to reach the ball and cross for the try. David Humphreys adds the extras.

Phil Vickery is captaining the England side which contains five new caps.

All Blacks flanker Taine Randall will lead the famous Baa-Baas representative side.

Mark Robinson replaces Augustin Pichot at scrum-half after the Argentine was injured in training. London Irish's Duncan Edwards takes the spare place on the bench.
