We believe we've put in the work since the poor performance in Italy, but it's difficult when you feel that the performances are improving, that you're competing - but that you still keep losing to the other guys out there. Nobody wants to get accustomed to losing. If you do that, you may as well give up playing altogether.
Over the next few days we'll de-brief the France game and the tournament with the management and take stock, but there are positives there.
We've scored some great tries in the tournament and we've stuck together as a squad, stuck to what we believe in. Having the squad around me has helped on a personal level and I feel that my performances have improved since Rome.
I've tried not to dwell on the situation at Swansea as it's been important to concentrate on Wales, but next week I'll get down to the club to discuss things.  Charvis reflects on the loss in Paris |
The situation is that the club can't afford to pay the players, so they approached a few of the guys, asking if we'd take redundancy to leave more money in the pot for everyone else. I've always made it clear that I've made my home in Swansea, but if it's a cost-cutting exercise I'll have to face release.
I've enjoyed seven years with the club, now I'll have to see what avenues are open.
Ideally, it'll be with Swansea or the amalgamated Swansea-Neath team, but there are other clubs in the Principality.
