Tonga book World Cup place
Tonga scrum-half Sililo Martens plays his club rugby for Bridgend in Wales
Sililo Martens will look forward to facing Wales in the World Cup finals

Tonga eased into the 2003 World Cup finals by destroying South Korea 119-0 in Nuku'alofa on Friday.

The Pacific Islanders saw off the South Koreans with an overwhelming 194-0 aggregate over the two-legged qualifier, having already won 75-0 in Seoul last week.

The visitors conceded 17 tries at the Teufaiva Stadium, with Tonga's outside centre Pierre Hola converting every one.

No 8 Benhur Kivalu led the way for the Tongans by touching down four times, with wing Hola Taniela Tulia and prop Ephraim Taukafa each claiming a brace.

The Tongans can now look forward to facing New Zealand, Wales, Italy and Canada in Pool D, and will begin their campaign against the Italians in Canberra on Wednesday 15 October.

Tonga's scrum-half Sililo Martens will be particularly delighted to have qualified in Pool D, as he plays his club rugby in Wales for Bridgend and will be eager for a crack at team-mates such as Gareth Thomas.
