Woodward wants more

England coach Clive Woodward said he was satisfied with his team's display against Scotland but still felt there was room for improvement.

The 40-9 victory at Twickenham set up a thrilling Grand Slam decider against Ireland next Sunday, but Woodward said there were plenty of things he wanted to work on before the game at Lansdowne Road.

"I think it's going to be a great game in Dublin. Everyone's fit and we have no injuries," he said.

"We are not playing at our best but I am delighted nonetheless.

"I think we are a lot more satisfied than we were after the Italy game. We are relieved.

"Well done to Scotland, they got stuck in and proved it was a true Six Nations championship."

Woodward said there were a lot of good individual performances, although he was concerned at how easily his side gave away possession.

"Josh Lewsey did a lot of good things but we turned a lot of ball over as well," he said.

England forward Richard Hill, voted man of the match after another tireless display, urged his team not to get carried away with the excitement of the forthcoming match.

"There is a lot riding on the game next week but it is the same for both teams. We have to keep our feet on the ground," he said.

Lewis Moody said his England team-mates would be relishing next weekend's Grand Slam decider.

"It's going to be a massive game. Ireland did not perform at their best in Cardiff, but England were not in brilliant form either," said the injured Leicester flanker.

"England lost two years ago at Lansdowne Road. Hopefully they can get over there and get a result."
