Wales fail to end their 20-year home losing streak against Ireland in a thrilling match at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium, as the Irish move one step away from the Grand Slam.
Full-time: Wales 24-25 Ireland
80+6 mins: A deliberate knock-on earns Wales a penalty but Mr Lander plays advantage. Charvis takes the ball forward with team-mates screaming to put the ball dead and take the kick. The try is on but the chance is missed and the final whistle goes.
80+3 mins: Straight from the kick-off O'Gara produces a sensational drop-goal to put Ireland back in the lead. Every fan in the stadium is on their feet with the drama unfolding in front of them.
Wales 24-25 Ireland
80+2 mins: Wales have a lineout in the Irish 22, the ball comes back to Stephen Jones in the pocket and his drop-goal sails through the posts.
Wales 24-22 Ireland
80 mins: Both sides are very tired after a non-stop match, but Ireland are looking a little nervous with their slender lead and are just punting possession away. There should be plenty of injury time.
79 mins: Watkins makes an excellent half-break but the support is just too slow, allowing Ireland to steal the ball on the floor.
76 mins: Prop change for both sides, with Justin Fitzpatrick replacing Marcus Horan for Ireland, and Martyn Madden replacing Gethin Jenkins for Wales. Ireland also bring on Miller for Quinlan in the backrow.
74 mins: A high tackle on Watkins by Alan Quinlan earns Stephen Jones a long-distance kick at goal, it has the distance but shaves the wrong side of the post.
71 mins: Ireland introduce Ronan O'Gara for Humphreys at fly-half, while the huge Donncha O'Callaghan comes on for Malcolm O'Kelly at lock.
68 mins: Stephen Jones shows and goes, allowing his team to pour through after him. Harris takes a hard hit but offloads brilliantly, Wales switch the attack to the right, Jones takes it on again and the overlap to the right sees Gareth Thomas score. Jones converts.
Wales 21-22 Ireland
65 mins: Davies is caught infringing at a ruck and Humphreys settles Irish nerves with a penalty to put the Grand Slam-chasers two scores clear.
Wales 14-22 Ireland
63 mins: Still a scrum to Ireland but prop Iestyn Thomas packs down and disrupts John Hayes to win Wales a penalty. Taylor has to leave the field after the latest encounter with Maggs and Iestyn Harris comes on.
61 mins: Ireland have the five-metre scrum, but when they move it wide Taylor stops Maggs short then Charvis pounces on Peter Stringer to slow the move.
58 mins: Ireland's turn to steal lineout and a flurry of attacks are only just stopped short of the Welsh try line. O'Driscoll seems that he may have got over, but the video referee rules the Ireland skipper was held up.
56 mins: Nasty collision in midfield sees Mark Taylor and Kevin Maggs of Ireland clash heads. Maggs recovers after a few moments but the Swansea man needs the physio - tissue paper stuffed up his nose seems to work.
54 mins: Gareth Llewellyn nicks an Irish lineout, allowing Charvis to burst away. Rhys Williams adds pace to the move, Davies links and pops the scoring pass for Martyn Williams to score his first international try.
Wales 14-19 Ireland
52 mins: Second Wales change of the afternoon sees Dwayne Peel replace Gareth Cooper at scrum-half.
50 mins: Ireland steal possession and launch flyer Denis Hickie up the left touchline. He chips ahead but collides with Dafydd Jones - accidental rules the referee - and Wales survive again.
46 mins: Ireland crank up the pressure again, forcing a lineout in the Wales 22 with the subsequent drive only just being stopped short of the try line.
44 mins: Wales skipper Humphreys has damaged his shoulder again and is replaced at hooker by Pontypridd's Mefin Davies. Martyn Williams takes the captain's armband.
42 mins: Watkins tries to clear but Foley charges down the kick. Ireland seize the ball and rush towards the try line with Wales running out of defenders, Gleeson on hand to claim his second try. The conversion is missed.
Wales 7-19 Ireland
41 mins: Humphreys restarts for Ireland and they win an early linout on the halfway line.
Half-time: Wales 7-14 Ireland
40+3 mins: Wales finish the half applying pressure and passing well out of contact, but the Irish defence is disciplined and aggressive and holds firm.
40+1 mins: Ireland's inital drive is held by the Welsh pack but the backs take it on. Predictably it's that man Murphy again who makes the half-break, before giving the scoring pass to Keith Gleeson in the left corner. Humphreys misses the extras.
Wales 7-14 Ireland
40 mins: Murphy really is on form, spotting a gap behind the Welsh defence and racing after his kick. Gareth Thomas is on hand to intercept but is forced to concede a short lineout.
38 mins: Wales skipper Jon Humphreys charges down an attempted clearance from his Irish namesake David, but Murphy is again alert to the danger and clears.
36 mins: Murphy takes a difficult Garryowen and launches Humphreys down the left wing, but Watkins does well to track the fly-half down and help steal possession in the process.
34 mins: O'Driscoll tries a drop-goal but it's a shocking effort that barely gets off the ground. Wales gather the loose ball and Rhys Williams thumps it downfield.
32 mins: Ireland backrow Anthony Foley needs some blood attention and Eric Miller comes on as a temporary replacement.
30 mins: Wales scrum-half Gareth Cooper executes a cheeky little grubber kick that is only just snuffed out by the alert Murphy from full-back.
29 mins: Dangerman O'Driscoll is being marked tightly by Wales and seems to be battered hard every time he attempts to move with the ball.
27 mins: Geordan Murphy hits a great running angle against the grain but is half-held by former Wales skipper Colin Charvis. However, Martyn Williams is adjudged to have stolen the ball illegally and Humphreys kicks another penalty for Ireland.
Wales 7-9 Ireland
26 mins: Mr Lander takes the two packs aside and delivers a stern lecture on the art of scrummaging straight - penalties and cards are threatened.
25 mins: Leo Cullen pinches another Welsh lineout from Robert Sidoli, but the opportunity is wasted by a knock-on as the move develops.
23 mins: Shenanigans at the scrum earn Ireland a free-kick that is taken quickly to send them into the home half. Humphreys puts in another excellent touch-finder to pin Wales back.
19 mins: Ireland come straight back, winning the restart and earning an immediate penalty kick that Humphreys converts.
Wales 7-6 Ireland
16 mins: Wales spin the ball back the other way and Stephen Jones goes over amid a flurry of Irish tacklers. It goes to the video referee and the red-shirted fans hold their breath - it's a try and Wales take the lead, with Jones capping it with a fine conversion.
Wales 7-3 Ireland
15 mins: Wales opt to kick for a lineout rather than take the kick at goal and launch their backline at the Irish line.
13 mins: Referee Steve Lander is policing the offside line like a hawk, catching out the over-eager Irish backrow.
11 mins: Llanelli wing Mark Jones picks up an early injury and is unable to carry on, with club mate Matthew Watkins replacing him. Watkins - usually a centre - has less pace but will add more in defence.
10 mins: Wales get their first chance at points after Ireland infringe, but the usually reliable Stephen Jones puts his penalty kick wide.
6 mins: Ireland steal a Welsh lineout and centre Kevin Maggs barges up the middle, breaking the game line. Wales scramble back in defence but concede a penalty in front of the posts that Humphreys kicks.
Wales 0-3 Ireland
4 mins: Ireland's lineout is also working well and the men in green launch a rolling maul, before a superb kick by David Humphreys bounces into touch a metre from the Welsh line.
3 mins: An early chance for Wales from a lineout in the Irish 22, but poor handling knocks on and a good position is wasted.
1 min: Wales show early intent by running hard at their visitors, young No 8 Dafydd Jones breaking several tackles to set his backs away.
Kick-off 1400 GMT: Stephen Jones kicks off for Wales to Ireland skipper Brian O'Driscoll who secures possession safely.
Pre-match news: Bomb experts carry out a precautionary controlled explosion on a suspect package found at the Millennium Stadium.
The incident is a false alarm and does not disrupt arrangements for the match, with the gates opening to fans at midday as planned.
