The Boxing Day fixture between Bath and Exeter in the Premiership has been postponed because of a frozen pitch at The Rec.

The playing surface was inspected on Thursday morning and deemed unfit to play on.

With the forecast predicting the temperature to remain below zero over the Christmas period there will be no chance for the pitch to thaw.

A date for the rearranged fixture will be made in due course.
