Coventry RFC ran in nine tries to secure their second successive home win with an impressive 55-5 victory over Cinderford on Saturday. Jeff Gregson and Dale Ager bagged two each, with Elliott Read slotting five conversions at the Butts Park Arena. The result means Coventry are up to sixth place in National League One and are now the division's top scorers. Director of rugby Phil Maynard told BBC Coventry & Warwickshire: "It was a good performance all round." He added: "We've been addressing our defence all week and I thought the lads stood up well. "That's going to be the key to the future. We're knocking them in at one end but we've got to stop them going in at the other. "That's the first second half we've won all season, so we're very pleased for all the coaches and the players."
