Wing Paul Sackey and flanker John Hart return from illness and injury, while James Honeyben starts at scrum-half.

Prop Pierre Capdevielle, fly-half Tim Taylor and scrum-half Andy Wiliams will make their first starts for Gloucester in the Guinness Premiership.

Centre Eliota Fuimaono Sapolu and Alistair Strokosch could be recalled.

Gloucester head coach Bryan Redpath told BBC Gloucestershire:

Redpath looks to get basics right

"At the start of the season we were creating chances, we just weren't finishing them which we are now. So I'm chuffed the players are getting it.

"It doesn't matter how much we're scoring, we're conceding less which is a key thing. We have to get something out of this game. It's a proper test of where we are.

"In the big games we've come second best because we haven't done the basics well."
