England Saxons reached the Churchill Cup final with a convincing win over the United States at Glendale. US scrum-half Mike Petri scored the game's first try, but England then responded with six tries of their own. Nick Kennedy, Micky Young, Rob Webber, Tom Guest, Tom Varndell, Brad Barritt all crossed the line before Chris Biller touched down for the US. Debutant Myler, who had come in for Danny Cipriani, converted six of the tries as well as slotting three penalties, with the first of those kicks giving England a fifth-minute lead. Cipriani was given a runout by coach Stuart Lancaster after England's sixth try.
