Cipriani was omitted from England's Six Nations squad
Danny Cipriani gave England manager Martin Johnson a timely reminder of his talents as he kicked 21 points to help Wasps to a 36-29 win over Leicester.
The victory moves Wasps to ninth in the Premiership, while a late converted try earned the Tigers two bonus points.
Cipriani kicked five penalties and converted all three tries from Serge Betsen, Chris Bishay and John Hart.
Leicester's four tries came from Scott Hamilton, Sam Vesty, Jordan Crane and replacement Johne Murphy.
The Tigers, who were beaten by Wasps in last season's play-off final, stay sixth and are also in danger on missing out on the play-offs.
But Murphy's injury-time dash to the tryline, which was converted by Vesty to earn Leicester a second bonus point, could prove invaluable at the end of the season.
Wasps director of rugby Ian McGeechan (on Danny Cipriani):
"I'll be very surprised if he is not back in an England jersey by the end of the Six Nations.
"No doors are closed. In a Lions context we've got to pick players who are playing well.
"He was pretty physical - he put himself on the front line and the players appreciate that. He will always do things that lift a team."
Leicester stand-in coach Richard Cockerill:
"With 90 seconds we had nothing, so it was good to get two points and four tries.
"We played some good stuff at times, but conceded some pretty soft points and it's hard when you do that.
"I give the players credit for playing to the death. The guys are pleased that we've taken a step forward in how we want to play, but disappointed because it was a winnable game for us."
