Nottingham got back to winning ways on Sunday |
Nottingham warmed up for next weekend's EDF National Trophy tie with London Welsh with a thumping National One win over the same opposition on Sunday. The Green and Whites dominated, running in six tries in a 34-6 home success.
Nigel Hall went over from close range and Tim Usasz sent Alex Loney over to make the score 12-3 at half-time.
Replacement Josh Kay scored the first of his two tries soon after the break, and further scores from Luke Sherriff and Alex Dodge sealed an easy win.
Nottingham director of rugby Glenn Delaney was thrilled with the victory which takes his side back up to third spot in National One.

But Delaney said it was tougher than the scoreline suggests.
"It was pretty tight, the score doesn't really show what happened in the match," he told BBC Radio Nottingham.
"They were very good opposition but we kept at it and it opened up in the second half.
"When you get your opportunites you've got to take them and maybe there were three or four we didn't take but I've got to be happy with a six-try to nil performance."
