Pertemps Bees have signed Wales Under-21 scrum-half Nick Griffiths from Magners League side Ospreys. Griffiths made only one first-team appearance for Ospreys last season and spent most of the campaign playing for Bridgend in the Welsh Premiership.
He had trials with Worcester this summer and, although they did not offer him a contract, the Warriors recommended him to the Bees.
He replaces Australian scrum-half Rod Petty, who has left the club.
The Bees were forced to release Petty because of new regulations which will prevent non-EU players playing as amateurs in the coming season.
