Anthony Allen showed the form that won him an England call-up with a superb second-half try to earn Gloucester victory over Wasps.
James Haskell's try gave Wasps the lead in a first-half in which both sides had men sin-binned but Willie Walker kicked Gloucester ahead just after the break.
James Bailey scored their first try on 56 minutes, two minutes before Allen's quick thinking stretched the lead.
Hooker Joe Ward pulled back a late try for Wasps but Gloucester held on.
Gloucester head coach Dean Ryan:
"Two weeks ago Anthony (Allen) was elevated to an international and now he's back
here with us. That's disappointing. "I'd like to see him back in there and the conversations we had with England were that if they were going to pick him they had to stick with him and they haven't."
Wasps director of rugby Ian McGeechan:
"We played a lot of good rugby but we just had a careless 15 minutes after half-time. "We started and finished with a try and a penalty and with some very positive rugby. That should be our trademark.
"But we didn't play with the urgency we showed at the start and in the last 10 minutes. We gave a lot of soft points away."
