Reihana scored 310 points for Saints last season |
Northampton full-back Bruce Reihana has been appointed as the club's new captain after Steve Thompson decided to stand down from the position. The 30-year-old, who joined Saints in 2003, led the side last season when Thompson was on international duty.
"Steve expressed a wish to concentrate solely on his own game and we support his decision," said coach Paul Grayson.
"Bruce is Steve's natural successor, he led the side last season and has proven himself to be a worthy leader."
