Sorrell has been awarded a testimonial next season |
Centre Kevin Sorrell has signed a new two-year contract with Saracens. The 29-year-old, who has made 226 appearances for the club, joined straight from school in 1995.
He plays for a Saracens XV against a World XV as part of Richard Hill's benefit year on Sunday and was recently named Players' Player of the Season.
Sorrell said: "It was an easy decision to make as Saracens are my extended family. I've been very fortunate to have been at the club all this time."
Saracens director of rugby Alan Gaffney was delighted that Sorrell, who has been awarded a testimonial next season, had signed up for more.
"Kevin has been a consistent performer for the club over a number of years and that has also been the case this season," said Gaffney.
"He played an important part in the fine end of season run and we're delighted he will continue to be part of the squad having signed for a further two years."
