Saturday's final round of the regular Premiership season sees Wasps meet Gloucester for the last play-off spot. The Kingsholm clash is effectively a knock-out, with fourth-placed Wasps two points ahead of Gloucester in fifth.
The winner will likely have to travel to Sale in the semi-finals, who have already secured top spot in the league.
Leicester, already in the play-offs, will have a home tie if they beat Bristol. If they slip up, third-placed London Irish could leapfrog them.
Victory for the Exiles, who have also secured their play-off spot, over Saracens will guarantee them at least third place.
But they could drop to fourth if they lose to Saracens and Wasps win at Gloucester. In theory Wasps could still finish second and sneak a home semi-final if they win and both Leicester and London Irish lose.
But with Leicester and London Irish both at home, the champions are probably playing for fourth.
The semi-finals, to be played on Sunday, 14 May, will see top dogs Sale face the team finishing fourth, and second playing host to third.
All five sides have already secured place in next year's Heineken Cup, with sixth-placed Northampton joining them in Europe's premier club competition.
