 Harlequins look set to be crowned National One champions |
The RFU has agreed to expand the number of clubs in National League One from 14 to 16 for the start of next season. The 2006 champions will be promoted to the Guinness Premiership, but the bottom two teams will not be relegated.
The top two teams in League Two will be promoted to League One, with only the bottom team facing relegation.
The top teams in National Three North and South will be promoted, while the teams finishing second in each division face a play-off for the final place.
