Welsh quits Bath for South Africa
Frikkie Welsh has quit Bath to return to South African side Blue Bulls.

Welsh, who scored seven tries for Bath, has been released immediately to help Bulls in the Super-14 Series.

He joined Bath from Blue Bulls in November 2004, scoring two tries on his debut against Saracens and making 24 appearances playing at wing and centre.

Welsh, 27, said: "The fans here are incredible. My aim now is to get involved in the Super 14s and hopefully get my chance with the Springboks."

Bath Rugby backs coach Richard Graham said: "Frikkie made a significant contribution to the club during his 18 months at Bath both on and off the field."
