 Mears played 26 games for Bath this season |
England hooker Lee Mears has signed a three-year extension to his contract with Guinness Premiership side Bath. The deal takes Mears, 27, through to the end of the 2008-09 season.
"I am very happy to have signed on for another three years here," Mears, who made his England debut this season, told www.stellargroup.co.uk.
"I enjoyed this season even though the team didn't perform quite as well as we should have done," added Mears, who played 26 games for Bath this campaign.
Mears, who started England's final Six Nations game against Ireland this term, is set to retain the number two jersey on next month's two-Test tour of
Australia.
