Skinner's opportunities were limited at Leicester |
Promoted Harlequins have signed flanker Will Skinner on a one-year deal after his departure from Leicester. The 22-year-old was limited to 11 matches this season and will join up with former Tigers coach Dean Richards.
"I am disappointed to be leaving the Tigers," Skinner said. "It is where I began my career and they are a club that never settles for second best.
"There is a winning mentality that I'll hopefully take with me to Quins. Dean was certainly a factor in my decision."
Skinner is the ninth new Quins signing since they sealed promotion, joining the likes of Stuart Abbott, Hal Luscombe and Paul Volley at the Twickenham Stoop.
Quins are also favourites to sign England Under-19 scrum-half Danny Care, part of the mass exodus of Leeds players following their relegation from the Premiership.
