 Nieto has won nine caps for Italy |
Gloucester have signed a second Italy international in 24 hours, with Viadona tight-head prop Carlos Nieto joining captain Marco Bortolami at Kingsholm. The 29-year-old, who has won nine caps, has signed a three-year contract which will begin in the summer.
With Phil Vickery battling injury, Gloucester decided they needed to strengthen their front-row options.
"We've got on with planning for next season. Carlos is a major addition to our squad," said coach Dean Ryan.
