Newcastle lock Andy Perry has agreed a one-year contract extension which will keep him at the club until 2008. The 31-year-old former Royal Marine joined the Premiership side from Plymouth last season.
"Andy has made a significant impact in a short period of time, and we had no hesitation in offering him a new deal," said Falcons boss Rob Andrew.
"Despite still having another season left on his current deal we felt his performances merited an extension."
