 Castrogiovanni was born in Argentina but plays for Italy |
Leicester Tigers have signed tighthead prop Martin Castrogiovanni from Italian outfit Calvisano. The Argentina-born 24-year-old has won 29 caps for Italy and will join the Tigers for the start of next season.
"We believe he's one of the best tightheads in world rugby," said Tigers forwards coach Richard Cockerill.
"We've seen a lot of him and know all about his ability. He's a little bit raw but we think he will thrive in a professional environment."
