Five sign extended Bristol deals
David Lemi
Lemi is one of five players to have extended his stay at the club
Bristol coach Richard Hill's planning for next season has received a boost with five players signing new deals.

Neil Clark, Dave Hilton and Craig Short have each signed for one year, with David Lemi and Wayne Thompson signing two-year contract extensions.

"That's five re-signed and I'm trying to get as many done as I can so players know where they stand," said Hill.

"I'm getting them signed up so they've got job security can concentrate on preparing for games."

Hill said that all five players had thoroughly deserved their new contracts, and said Samoan winger Lemi had made a particularly big impact since his arrival in the summer.

"We've seen enough of him so far to realise that he's a very high quality player and we've signed him to a new deal before anyone else tries to snap him up," said Hill.

"David's really happy here and very keen to stay. He loves it here and wants to commit for another couple of years."
