London Irish second-row forward Bob Casey has signed a new two-year deal, which will keep him at the club until the end of the 2007-08 season.

Casey has won five Ireland caps and in his four years at the club has become one of the Premiership's top players.

"I'm extremely happy to have re-signed. We are building something special here and I want to be part of it," he said.

"Every week he puts his heart on the line. We're delighted he signed," said Irish's director of Rugby Brian Smith.
