Highly-rated Exeter scrum-half Haydn Thomas has joined Premiership outfit Gloucester. The 22-year-old was an impressive performer for Exeter last season as they finished just four points behind National League One champions Bristol.
"I felt I needed a new challenge but it is sad to leave as they are a great bunch of lads at Exeter," Thomas said.
"It was just too good an opportunity to turn down. It's something I am very much looking forward to."
Gloucester academy product Mark Foster has also pledged himself to the club for another season.
The 21-year-old, who plays on the wing or in the centre, made two first-team starts last season, as well as a handful of replacement appearances.
