Northampton abandon move for Kydd |  Kydd has played for New Zealand U21s |
Northampton have called off a two-year deal with Robbie Kydd, because of a knee injury to the New Zealander. Kydd had agreed to join Saints from Saracens, but could be ruled out for a year after damaging three parts of his knee in a training session in March. The former Otago Highlander has since undergone corrective surgery. Head coach Budge Pountney explained: "We feel desperately sorry, wish him all the best with his recovery and look forward to seeing him in action soon."
