Saint-Andre joined Sale after being sacked by Bourgoin |
Sale director of rugby Philippe Saint-Andre and head coach Kingsley Jones have both signed new three-year contracts with the club. Saint-Andre joined the Sharks in March last year and Jones arrived in May.
The pair were previously at Gloucester together where head coach Saint Andre promoted Jones to captain.
"Philippe has proved he is not just an excellent coach and talent spotter, but an excellent leader of men," said Sale chairman Brian Kennedy.
Saint-Andre said: "I have enjoyed my first full season with Sale Sharks and we have achieved the first of our goals by qualifying for next season's Heineken Cup.
"We now have to win our game on Saturday in the European Challenge Cup Final against Pau to achieve the second goal we set ourselves - winning a trophy."
Ex-France captain Saint-Andre, who won 69 international caps, coached Gloucester for three seasons before leaving for Bourgoin in February, 2002.
He was sacked by the French club in January 2004 after he applied to become the next Wales coach.
Jones, whose clubs as a player included Gloucester and Worcester, won 12 international caps for Wales.
