Magne has been out of action for over four months |
French flanker Olivier Magne says he could join Premiership side London Irish over the summer. Magne, who has just returned to action after a foot injury, has already confirmed he will be leaving Clermont Auvergne after a row with officials.
"At the moment I'm leaning towards going to England," the 32-year-old told his official website.
"I have received a very decent offer from London Irish but I am going to take my time to make my decision."
Irish will be lead by new director of rugby Brian Smith next season.
The Exiles have already secured the services of hooker Danie Coetzee and Michael Collins and Magne says he was impressed with their offer.
"Their offer attracts me both because of their sporting ambition and because of the guarantees they are giving me," he said.
"Things will become clearer over my future in the not too distant future.
"I will leave the door open for potential offers in France, even if the ones I have received so far are far from concrete."
