London Irish have signed Samoan international wing Sailosi Tagicakibau on a three-year contract. The 23-year-old, who has just completed his country's autumn tour of Europe, will join the club in mid-December.
Exiles director of rugby Brian Smith said: "Sailosi is a genuine talent and at 23 has already played three seasons of international rugby."
Tagicakibau said: "London Irish are an ambitious club and I am delighted to
join them at this stage of my career."
He added: ""Playing in a top class back line in what is the best league in world rugby will be a real challenge and will help me develop as a player.
"I'm really looking forward to playing in the Guinness Premiership and in
Europe."
Tagicakibau replaces Australian wing Scott Staniforth, who is leaving the club to return home on compassionate grounds.
