Northampton centre Marc Stcherbina has extended his contract and will spend two more years at the club. The Australian, who has missed only one game since arriving last summer, had an opt-out clause in his contract, but has decided to stay at Franklin's Gardens.
"I have built such a positive relationship with the players, staff and supporters," Stcherbina said.
"We are delighted Marc has decided to extend his contract," added Saints coach Budge Pountney.
"He contributes a lot with his sense of humour off the field and his work rate on it."
