Hill was appointed MBE after England's Rugby World Cup win |
England and Saracens flanker Richard Hill has set sights on an April return to action following knee surgery. Out since October, the World Cup winner had his anterior cruciate ligament reconstructed and has now finished a three-week rehabilitation in the USA.
A Zurich Premiership comeback with Saracens would boost his prospects of making the Lions' summer tour.
"My aim is an April return, but that depends on my physical progress and how it fits in with the team," said Hill.
"I feel very confident with the progress I've made and I am very much looking forward to getting out on the training field once again."

Hill spent time with well-known knee specialist Bill Knowles at the Killington Medical Centre in Vermont.
"It has been a very rewarding three weeks in terms of recovery," he said.
"It's been brilliant working with Bill and I have returned with a clear guide from him that will see the introduction of some lighter running-based sessions.
"Then I can move on to skills sessions, controlled individual contact work with tackle bags and just getting used to the movements used in rugby again."
Meanwhile, Saracens winger Dan Scarbrough has returned to full training and could make the team to face Sale on Sunday.
Scarbrough, who underwent shoulder surgery four months ago, said: "Four months out is a long time and it will be like starting all over again.
"But I'm desperate to get out there and play for the club."
Head coach Steve Diamond said: "Dan has made a full recovery and he has an important role to play as we enter the business end of the season."
