Seely handed new Northampton deal
Northampton's Grant Seely
Grant Seely has scored 61 tries for Northampton
Northampton's longest-serving player Grant Seely has signed an extension to his contract that will keep him at the club for another season.

The 31-year-old made his debut for Saints against the RAF in the 1993/4 season and is nearing his 250th game.

The versatile forward is determined to help his relegation-threatened side keep their place in the Premiership.

"I am delighted to have signed on for another year despite it being a period of uncertainty for the club," he said.

"I have seen the club go through good times and bad, so I know that the important thing now is for the guys to pull together with a common goal of staying up this season."
