Harlequins sign fly-half Thomas

Harlequins have signed former Wales fly-half Arwel Thomas on a short-term contract from Llanelli Scarlets.

The 30-year-old will join Quins in time for Saturday's game with Bath and will stay until the end of the season.

Quins fly-halves Andy Dunne and Adrian Jarvis are unavailable because of injury and illness respectively.

"To have a player of Arwel's experience is a great boost given the importance of the six Premiership games we still have to play," said Quins' Mark Evans.
