London Irish have signed South Africa prop Faan Rautenbach. The 29-year-old, who has won 14 caps, will join the Guinness Premiership club from Western Stormers later this month.
"Our scrum has been an issue for us since we started planning for the season," said Irish rugby director Brian Smith.
"The signings of Michael Collins and Danie Coetzee were the first steps in beefing up our pack. Faan will add some serious power to our front-row."
