Leeds forward Mark Regan will return to Bristol at the end of the season for family reasons. The ex-England hooker, who has been at Leeds for the past three seasons, started his career with Bristol.
"My move to Leeds has been fantastic for me and my family and I have really enjoyed my time at Headingley," said the 33-year-old.
"The time is right now for me to move back home to begin the next stage of my career and to be near my family."
Tykes director of rugby Phil Davies said: "Mark has been a great servant for the club and we fully understand his reasons for wanting to return home.
"He has been part of taking us to another level and we will also be thankful for his efforts for the club and wish him all the best for the future."
Regan joined the Tykes in August 2002 from Premiership rivals Bath.
He played for the Lions in 1997 and was part of England's World Cup-winning squad in 2003, retiring from the international scene in November 2004.
