Short is useful at the line-out |
Bath forward Peter Short is set to undergo knee surgery which will keep him sidelined for up to three months. Short, who signed from French side Narbonne over the summer, sustained the injury in the build-up to last week's Premiership opener against Bristol.
Meanwhile, David Bory (hernia) and Tom Cheeseman (shoulder surgery) could return from injury on Monday for the Guinness A league match at Gloucester.
Prop David Flatman is also hoping to be fully fit in the next four weeks.
