Quins cruise to avoid Bees sting
Andrew Mehrtens leads a Harlequins attack against Pertemps Bees
Mehrtens showed his class
Harlequins began life in National League One with an error-strewn 35-9 win over Pertemps Bees in front of 3,000 fans at Sharmans Cross Road.

Quins, orchestrated by former All Blacks fly-half Andrew Mehrtens, scored five tries to earn a bonus point.

Wings Ugo Moyne and George Harder both grabbed two apiece, with full-back Tom Williams adding the fifth.

The meeting between Quins' two most likely rivals for promotion, Plymouth and Exeter, saw Plymouth prevail 35-13.
