Sanderson is an inspirational leader

Worcester Warriors' captain Pat Sanderson has agreed a contract extension that will keep him at Sixways until 2008.

The 27-year-old's current deal ran out at the end of the forthcoming season.

"Pat has been outstanding both on and off the pitch and we are delighted he has pledged his long term future," said director of rugby John Brain.

"I was more than happy to make this commitment to Worcester," Sanderson said. "It is a great set-up here."
